You will work on creating a snowy landscape painting focusing on creating textures through watercolor. Watercolor paper and white ink will be supplied by the AAC. Students will need to bring their own basic watercolor kit.
Basic Watercolor experience is required to take this course. Intermediate to advanced students only.
Materials needed for class.
- Paints: (similar to 12 set of Cotman Winsor watercolor tube kit)
- Lemon Yellow Hue
- Cadmium Red Pale Hue
- Permanent Rose
- Ultramarine
- Prussian Blue
- Sap Green
- Burnt Sienna
- Burnt Umber
- Payne's Gray
- Ivory Black
- Chinese White
- Opera Pink, Daniel Smith Color - can be provided by the AAC if needed
- Brushes:
- 3/4" - 1" Wash
- #8-#12 round
- #0-#2 detail
- tea towel
- water conatiners
- salt
- rubbing alcohol
- paint pallete
- sketchbook
- Fineline masking fluid
- 12x16 sheet of plexi glass or mason board to tape your paper to. The AAC will provide one if needed.

This is a one day, 4 hour workshop held on Saturday, February 8th from 10am - 3pm with a 1 hour break around 12pm for lunch.
