The Ankeny Art Center values all our dedicated volunteers! Volunteering is a wonderful and fulfilling way for individuals and organizations to give to the arts and to the community. We have many different events and opportunities to volunteer at to help support a local non-profit!

We are always looking for artists and teachers who wish to share their skills with others. Classes cover 2D and 3D media, and a wide variety of ages.
The following are the media that we offer:
Youth
Art Exploration Pottery Sculpture
Pottery Wheel Drawing
Adults
Drawing Watercolor
Pottery/Ceramics Fiber Arts Acrylic Painting Mixed Media
Pastel Painting Linocut Printmaking
The Ankeny Art Center is a non-profit Art Gallery with rotating art exhibits and classrooms for drawing, painting, and ceramics. Interns will learn how to install an art show, assist instructors in K-8th Grade art classrooms, and help our outreach coordinator with bringing art experiences to the community.
Internship hours will occur between
June 1st - August 1st.
SUMMER INTERNS:

Interviews with potential interns will be scheduled after April 7th and Intern will be selected by May 1st.
